About Us

Mike & Sandy Enders 

Mike was raised in rural Northern Indiana and completed his undergraduate work on the Indiana University flagship campus in Bloomington graduating with a bachelor degree in psychology. Upon graduation he moved to Chicago to take a position as a claims authorizor at the Social Security Administration. He stayed through the seventies graduating from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1976 and soon after moved into an attorney advisor position. His first son, Robert, was born in 1979 and shortly thereafter he moved to Fort Wayne, IN where his daughter Rebecca was born. In 1995 he moved to New Haven, CT to take a position as a supervisory attorney and divorced his children's mother. He met Sandy in 1997 and remarried two years later. He left management to become a senior attorney in 2002. In 2004 his son Adam was born and Mike began doing the Dad routine one more time. He recently retired from the Federal government after 38 years of civil service. He has completed a second bachelor degree in computer science from American Sentinel University since his retirement as well as a masters in comparative government and development at American Public University. His feelings toward government: "Anyone who has worked for a government agency that long and hasn't turned libertarian either hasn't been paying attention or doesn't care." He currently teaches government courses online at both Housatonic Community College and Central Texas College.

Sandy has a fairly diverse background including 20 years in the business environment in retail management and financial services. She moved into education in 2000. Although she has instructed in various areas of both business and the social and behavioral sciences, she currently instructs a psychology survey course lecture at Gateway Community College, a sociology survey course online at Housatonic Community College, and a marriage and family course onlne at Central Texas College. Sandy also works in the mental health field currently at Catholic Charities as a clinical counselor. 


 For undergraduate work, she holds an AS and BS in business, an AS in drug and alcohol counseling, and a BA in social & behavioral sciences. For graduate work, she holds an MS in political science, a SYC in educational foundations, and an MA in psychology. She also holds a Certificate in Biblical Scripture. Sandy adheres to a multidisciplinary approach to the study of society and human behavior, and holds to the importance of knowing the philosophical roots of today’s thinking. Through formal study in various disciplines as well as diversity in college choices, mixing public secular and faith based schools, she has tried to grasp an understanding of the human condition. Although what she sees is often not nice, her outlook on life and the world is always optimistic and faith filled.


Sandy has special interests in the area of the psychology of spirituality in the individual and paranormal events. She has completed three internships through the years; one at the CT Court State Attorney's Office in New Haven working with domestic violence, another at Saint Francis Home for Children in New Haven working with at-risk adolescents, and her third was at the Michael Perlin Center at The Connection in a pre-trial alcohol and drug education program in Connecticut. She is certified as a Consulting Hynotist by the National Guild of Hypnotists and holds a License in Professional Counseling Associate from the Connecticut Health Department.    


Sandy was raised in East Haven CT where she currently resides with her husband and son near the south-central shoreline of CT. She is active in the local Catholic Church and community. She is trained as a catecist, lector, youth minister, and Catholic Religious Emblem Coordinator for the Boy Scouts of America. She has been a commisioner on the East Haven Counseling and Community Services Committee since 2012.


Sandy was recently interviewed on "Spiritual Invitation with Carla Augustyne" about her book "Meditations on the Rosary".
